A Different Kind of Pink Wednesday

Can you believe it’s October already? Time has really flown, hasn’t it?

So it’s Wednesday! I bet you’re here expecting some of the usual pink nonsense -- maybe a sparkly pink pair of shoes or a pink purse or a random pink necklace or bracelet that I’m obsessing over. Not this month. This month, we’re doing something a little different...

In honor of October being National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, every Wednesday I will be posting products whose proceeds benefit major charities, foundations, and organizations dedicated to fighting breast cancer.

Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer found in women (except for skin cancers). The chance of a woman developing breast cancer at some time in her life is a little less than 1 in 8 women. Breast cancer affects everyone, and it’s important to do everything we can -- yes, including shopping for the cause! -- to help find a cure.

I am a proud owner of a Save the Tatas shirt, just like this one. I love it - it’s funny, smart, and gets the point across, big time. The shirts are available in all sorts of variations - black, white, grey, pink, rhinestoned, with big logos, small logos, faded logos, you name it.

And the website doesn't just sell shirts with the logo - they sell almost everything! Posters, bumper stickers, keychains, baseball hats, coffee mugs, baby clothes, wristbands, sweatshirts, tanktops... something for everyone!

At least 25% of the proceeds of every single purchase goes directly to The Save the Tatas Foundation, dedicated towards eradicating breast cancer. So let’s save the tatas, ya’ll! Visit their website and start shopping now!

Don’t forget to check back every Wednesday this month for a different batch of pink products that go towards fighting breast cancer (I know, I know, you check back every Pink Wednesday anyways. That’s what ya’ll are the best readers ever!)
