HOLY SHIT. MY BRAIN IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE WITH AMAZINGNESS.

I apologize for my absentee-ness. In reality, I just didn’t blog yesterday, but in cyber world, maybe that seems like so much longer? In any rate, these were the sorts of messages I was receiving:

where is the blog update

me: today there is not going to be one

tomorrow

Stacy: WHAT?!!?!?

i just had to catch my breath

Stacy: please tell me that was a joke

Clearly, not a joke. HOWEVER. I have an excuse for why I’ve been a little MIA. You see, a lot of AMAZING ACTIVITIES are happening in the next few days, and I’ve basically been freaking out and running around my apartment, taking deep breaths into a brown paper bag, and planning out my various ensembles for said events.

I promise to do a full recap about all these events, but in the meantime, want a preview?

TONIGHT: Pat Green Concert at the House of Blues! This may come as a surprise to some of you, but I LOVE country music, and Pat Green is hands-down my favorite singer.

TOMORROW: A trip to the brand new Santa Monica Bloomingdales! Even though it’s opening today, I won’t be able to make it, so instead, I am going to introduce myself to the new store tomorrow. I’m sure my credit card will feel right at home there - after all, it IS about five minutes from my apartment. Uh oh...

TOMORROW NIGHT: RENT is playing at the Hollywood Bowl! This ALSO may come as a surprise to some of you, but I have never been to the Hollywood Bowl and I am sooooo excited. In other news that I’m sure is NOT surprising to you, I am a HUGE RENT-Head. It’s my favorite musical, and I’m proud to say this will be my FIFTEENTH time seeing it! Yup, fifteenth. One-five.

NEXT THURSDAY: I just realized that I never updated yall on some super amazing news. BESTIE OF LIFE JENNIFER LEIGH GREENEBEAN SURPRISED ME WITH LADY GAGA TICKETS FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!! I’ll fill you in on the whole story soon enough, but now that the concert is less than a week away, I am very busy with screaming, dancing wildly alone in my room, and planning my insane concert costume (hint: it involves Diet Coke cans). I CANNOT WAIT!

And that’s not all.... last but not least...

Yesterday I was minding my biz and driving to work, singing along with my new favorite Sirius radio 90’s channel when I got a call from Greene. “What are you doing Sunday night?” she asked me mysteriously. I had been planning on, oh, nothing, so I told her I was free - why?

“Oh, no big deal, just because I JUST WON TWO TICKETS TO THE TEEN CHOICE AWARDS ON KIIS FM FIVE MINUTES AGO!”

HOLY F. AMAZING!!!!! So, SUNDAY NIGHT, GB and I will be putting on our party pumps and heading out to the Teen Choice Awards!!!! Taylor Lautner, watch out, you are mine and you are delicious. The show doesn’t air til Monday night, so set your Tivos now and make sure to keep an eye out for a sassy gal and her blonde friend sitting in the audience screaming.

BUT WAIT! That’s not even the best part... she also won two passes to the GIFTING SUITE! So, without further ado, I am off to the Gifting Suite RIGHT NOW -- gotta go comb my hair and put on something sparkly so the paparazzi will take my picture :)
