Off I Go Again!

I am off to DALLAS today! I am so excited. I work for a Jewish organization and we have lots of days off in the month of October because of all the Jewish holidays. I have a four day weekend this week AND next week, so I figured why not get my tush out to Texas and see one of my besties?

A couple of months after Gerrick and Daniel got engaged earlier this year, they bought a house! They’re such grownups. I can’t believe I haven’t seen it yet – all summer long, Gerrick would call and ask me for my advice on how to decorate a different rooms (my hidden passion!). I helped her pick out a new rug, pillows, curtains… I can’t wait to see their place!

Anyway. A new house calls for a HOUSEWARMING GIFT! If I do say so myself, I am very good at housewarming gifts :) I considered lots of options for my best friend and her fiancée, but throughout the search, there was one thing that really stood out to me…

I AM IN LOVE WITH THESE GLASSES! I want a pair of my own (eventually, that is…) I love the metallic font and the adorable graphics, but the absolute BEST part?! They’re INSANELY reasonable - $18 for the set! I had to share this find with all of you. Go snap a pair up!

I cannot tell a lie, these will be gifted time and time again to my friends as each of them move into new homes with their boyfriends or husbands and settle down. I wrap them up with a bottle or champagne and it’s truly the perfect housewarming gift :)

Will try and update from Texas if I can, but let’s be honest – I’ll be VERY busy modeling cowboy boots and eating fried things at the Texas State Fair :)
