Hold Everything Pink

Several weeks ago, I spent the day at the Americana At Brand shopping destination (have you been there? It’s like they picked up the Grove and dropped it smack in the middle of Glendale) with my mom and my aunt.

After lunch at the Cheesecake Factory (where, by the way, the two of them decided to splurge and order enormous sangrias for some “light day-drinking,” leaving me in charge of getting us all home), I popped in to Anthropologie (obviously) to browse. It’s a tossup for me which section of their store I love more – the clothes are amazing, obviously, but I have also been a major fan of their home goods for as long as I can remember.

I passed many things that I loved but none of which I was in the market for, and then, as I was about to turn around and leave the store, I came across these:

Are they not the cutest little things you’ve ever seen? I am obsessed! I had been thinking about how I needed to buy a few smallish bowls to use for things around the house, and lo and behold, I found the most perfect ones. Not only do they come in my absolute favorite pattern of all time – ikat (don’t get me started on my obsession), but they’re also available in these gorgeous colors: deep blue, a charcoal grey, bright chartreuse, and of course, a lovely shade of pink, which they call raspberry :)

Best of all, they’re small, but you can put anything in them -- they hold plenty. I cannot tell a lie, my first thoughts upon spotting them were:

1. “Ooh! I can fill these with hummus."

2. “Ooh! I can put my rings in these.”

There you have it, folks. Multi-purpose bowls at their finest. Hummus and jewelry. And to top it all off, they’re PINK! What could be better?
