All About The Birthday!

This is my first post as a 26 year old! Am I writing differently? :)

My birthday was great! I can’t believe it was a week ago. Time flies when you are in your mid-twenties :)

Anyway, I had a very nice day. I woke up and went to work, where I was surprised with a Starbucks waiting for me, homemade cookies from my pal Remy, and a tiny pie from Simple Things from RK - such a great morning surprise! Then at noon, my mom came and picked me up for a special birthday lunch and took me somewhere fabulous... Bottega Louie!

During lunch my fabulous mother handed me a present to open. First I took out that piece of Jennifer Sanchez art I had been admiring... and there underneath it lay an iPAD!!!! Best surprise EVER!

Back to work I went after lunch - it was a normal and uneventful day until I walked into the conference room for a 3pm meeting and was surprised with all my colleagues singing Happy Birthday, and a huge tray full of cupcakes! Shout out to my fab boss Jenny :) the best ever!

After a manicure/pedicure on my way home, it was time for dinner with all my girlfriends, one of my favorite birthday traditions. This year I chose The Foundry on Melrose, and it was delicious! A dozen of my closest pals came to celebrate with me - I am one lucky duck! (PS. on this occasion of my birthday I chose to come attired in a BATHING SUIT COVERUP to dinner, a fact that I proudly announced to everyone and anyone I came across all evening.)

So that was Wednesday! Doesn’t it sound like a great day?

And on Thursday night Rami took me out for a delicious sushi dinner at our favorite place... he promises me that my gift is on the way and I have a sneaking suspicion I know what it is, so I’ll fill yall in ASAP :) and on Friday my boss took me out for a special birthday lunch for... you guessed it, sushi. Sense a theme?!

(Oh, and since some of you asked... among my most fab presents besides the iPad (!!!!): a Burke Williams spa gift certificate, the Marc Jacobs laptop bag I wanted, a Kate Spade necklace, a full pack of 80‘s Glam Sharpies (OH YES), Katy Perry concert tickets, and so many more I can’t even think to name! I am a lucky girl indeed!)
